Torrot debuts as a Formula E partner in Mexico

Torrot joins the top sustainable electric-motor competition. Fomula E drivers and their teams, from the International Automobile Federation (FIA), are already using the Spanish Tech company’s electric bikes and motorcycles in each of the Grand Prix of this competition.

Last weekend they debuted on Mexico, where a convoy of Torrot’s electric Muvi model motorcycles, moved around the tracks and paddock of the Mexico City circuit. German Daniel Abt (Audi)) was the winner of the E-Prix CDMX, followed by the English Oliver Turvey (McLaren) and in third place by the Swedish Sébastien Buemi (Toyota).

With this entry, Torrot has consolidated as the main supplier of the international racing competition for electric formula cars, in line with the company’s strategic objective to position itself as a leader in sustainable urban mobility. And the Championship is under way! We could see more Torrot vehicles in the next qualifying rounds that will take place in Punta del Este (Uruguay), Rome, Paris, Berlin, Zurich and New York.
